In November 2025, I partnered with Sophie Lülsdorf, Managing Director at Aurevo Energy, stepping into a high-pressure recovery scenario: a broken Prophix implementation, low system trust and a hard deadline—onboard a new customer within 4 months while establishing a scalable data foundation.

The Challenge

The setup lacked structure, ownership and reliability. Previous implementation attempts had failed, resulting in low adoption and operational friction. At the same time, the business required a fast turnaround, clean data flows and a system capable of supporting growth.

The Approach

Applying a hypothesis-driven, root-cause analysis approach I focused on rapid stabilization and long-term scalability:

  1. Identified and resolved critical system blockers within weeks.

  2. Re-architected data flows and system structure for clarity and reliability.

  3. Implemented best practices across data lifecycle and process design.

  4. Delivered targeted, hands-on training to enable internal ownership.

The focus: move from a fragile, consultant-dependent setup to a self-sufficient system.

The Outcome

Within weeks, the system was stabilized and fully operational. Within 4 months, a new customer was successfully onboarded on schedule. More importantly, the team transitioned to independent system ownership—managing, maintaining and evolving the setup without external reliance.

What started as a recovery project became a scalable, production-ready system and a shift from dependency to capability—enabling sustainable growth built on trust, clarity and execution.
